Night Trains
When: Saturdays – November 2nd – February 29th, 2020

Night Trains season is a special Holidays tradition at the Twin City Model Railroad Museum. Night Trains will begin on Saturday, November 2nd and runs every Saturday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 pm through the last Saturday in February (Saturday, February 29th, 2020).

What is Night Trains?

The museum’s collection of model trains of all scales and toy trains of yesteryear come alive throughout the Museum (Sorry, no real trains to board and ride on ? !). Night Trains Season magic begins as the lights are turned down and the buildings and street lights glow warmly, setting the scene for specially lighted models of operating vintage passenger trains. The make believe town of Matlin is buried in a blizzard, and throughout the Museum the layouts are adorned with miniature Christmas lights and decorations.

Elf the Musical, Jr.

Bachman’s Holiday Open House

Pas de Deux’s “Nutcracker Ballet”

Pas de Deux Dance Studio is a “new” kind of ballet school.  We teach classical ballet, but with a twist.  Classes are traditional ballet based on the Cecchetti Method of Classical Ballet, and we offer traditional performance opportunities, such as “The Nutcracker Ballet”.  Our “twists” include fun music, flexibility in the number of classes taken at each level, and nontraditional performance opportunities such as dance competitions and dance trips.

The mpls downtown council is excited to bring Holidazzle to Loring Park. As downtown Mpls’ premier holiday celebration, Holidazzle has delighted residents, visitors and downtown employees for years. In 2019, this tradition is again bringing family-friendly programming to Loring Park and is free and open to the public. You and yours are invited to join in the festivities!

WinterSkate in Loring Park

Wells Fargo Mpls WinterSkate in Loring Park (1382 Willow Street, Minneapolis, MN 55402) offers you a chance to skate under the downtown Minneapolis skyline. Join us for one of Minnesota’s favorite winter activities. The skating rink will be open once again during the 2019-20 winter season beginning November 29 and running through the beginning of March.

Skating on the rink is free, and complimentary skates are available during warming house hours on a first-come, first-served basis. Sizes and quantities vary.
