CLEANING:
A mild soap, such as Murphy’s, is recommended for cleaning all surfaces.

REPAIR:
Items needed for repair are included in your touch up kit.

Repair Walls
To repair a small dent in the sheet-rock the following steps should be taken.

  1. Fill the dent with spackling and allow to dry.
  2. Sand lightly until flush with the sheetrock.
  3. Repeat step 1 and step 2 if necessary to provide a smooth surface.
  4. Brush wall paint over spackled surface feathering it at the edges and allow to dry.
  5. Sand the newly painted area and repeat step 4

Trim:
To repair small scratches and dents the following steps should be taken.
Stained woodwork:

  1. Wipe the blemish with stain and allow to dry.
  2. If the mark is larger use wood putty to fill it.
  3. Apply varnish to the area feathering the edges to blend in.

Painted woodwork

  1. Sand the damaged area.
  2. Fill the damaged area with spackling and allow to dry.
  3. Sand and repeat step 2 if needed.
  4. Brush enamel onto the damaged area feathering the edges to blend and allow to dry.
  5. Sand and recoat with enamel.

Any cleaning of the exterior surfaces should be with a hose and water.

REPAIR:

To repair any peeling paint from the exterior surface the following steps should be taken.

  1. Scrape away any loose or flaking paint from the surface or the wood.
  2. Sand the wood and remaining paint from the area to be repainted.
  3. Apply exterior oil paint to the surface feathering the edges and allow to dry. (repeat)
