In 1973, Len and Lowell were both newly married and faced with student loans. They partnered with Uncle Doug to build the first official Pratt Home in Scandia. They quickly hired relatives and friends as their business grew. In 1976, they launched their development side with five homes in Forest Lake, followed by their first large-scale project, Birch Lake Woods, which included over 60 single-family homes and 128 condos in White Bear Lake. Today, 52 years later, over 1,000 families have chosen Pratt Homes, reflecting our commitment to high standards and customer satisfaction.
