Mark your calendars for The Builders and Remodelers Show! This year the Builders and Remodelers Show is April 7th, 1 – 8pm.

See the newest and best products and services from more than 200 vendors. Discover new trends, build new relationships, and gain the tools you need to succeed.

This is the largest building industry product show in the upper midwest.

The show is free to all licensed Minnesota builders and remodelers, and for architects and interior designers. That’s not all. Each firm will get up to four FREE dinner passes. Additional dinners can be purchased if desired.   Building officials are welcome to attend for free-dinner tickets may be purchased online.

Educational sessions are 1pm to 3pm. Exhibits are open from 2pm to 8pm. There is a dinner buffet from 4:30pm to 7pm.

In addition to all the great mingling, exhibits and food there are plenty of prizes to go around. This year you can enter to win all kinds of great home building and remodeling themed prizes including:

Educational sessions include a presentation on the housing forecast by Edsel Charles. Edsel presents a housing forecast by county, tied to the Top 20 places to build in the Twin City market. He will also provide a lot shortage forecast, by county, for the Twin City market and discuss a national lot shortage.

Terri Wilcox presents a session about negotiating styles. In this presentation-discussion Terri will touch on negotiating and your ultimate goal, how negotiating is part art and part science, how to enter into a negotiating situation, and conflict management.

The Real Estate and New Construction Outlook session by Matt Mullins, will include an overview of the rental housing boom, senior housing, and new single-family construction outlook. There will be an emphasis on land supply and a discussion on Millennials and when they will become buyers.

And finally a session on Social Media presented by Tennyson Anseth, Andrew Michels and Kate O’Hara. Social Media is changing business, communications, customer service, research and development, marketing and the way we get things done.
