We hope you will be happy here for many years to come. Your home represents the assembly of many parts by dozens of professional trades. It is built to last and complies with the rigid building standards of local and state building codes, your mortgage lender, and of course, the high standards of each PRATT-build home.

A common misunderstanding among new homeowners is that we, as your homebuilder, would be providing you with a complete home maintenance program. While it is true that there are continuing obligations on our part, it is important for you to understand that it is ultimately your responsibility, as a homeowner, to take over in setting up your own maintenance program. The material in this website has been provided to assist you in this process.

To help differentiate between the builder’s obligation and those classified as normal homeowner maintenance, we have included a copy of RWC Residential Warranty Corporation program documents and PRATT HOMES Service Request Procedures. You will also find some helpful tips and suggestions regarding home maintenance.

Please read the following web pages carefully, as they will greatly assist you in determining the responsibility.

If you should have any questions, please contact Mark Mithun of our Customer Service Department at (651) 429-8032. The best time to reach Mark in the office is between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. Occasionally, he may have morning appointments that would make him unavailable during these hours. However, you always have the option of leaving a detailed message on his voice mail, and he would return your call as soon as possible.
