Spring has sprung, at least for a little while. Looks like there’s one last snow storm in the works before we can look forward to a little bit of spring and summer. Still, a little snow never stopped us before and this month is no exception. The Final Four is the main attraction this month, but if basketball isn’t your thing, there’s still plenty of family friendly fun to be had in the Twin Cities this month. From Lake Elmo, to Hugo, to White Bear Lake, to Woodbury, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this month.

Street Sweeping in White Bear Lake
When: Beginning April 8, 2019
Where: White Bear Lake

Street sweeping will begin Monday, April 8th, weather permitting.

Please keep trash cans and vehicles off the streets until all streets have been swept.  The City does not post “no parking” signs for street sweeping due to its continuous cycle while the weather permits. It is important that the roadways are free and clear so that the sweeper may clean curb to curb to help keep our neighborhoods clean and livable and to protect our waterways.

The City’s street sweeping program removes leaves, sediment, and other debris off the streets and keeps this material out of the local water bodies.  The City owns and operates a regenerative air street sweeper, which vacuums up fine soil particles as well as the larger debris, such as leaves.
