Manitou Days
When: Now through July 4th, 2022
Where: White Bear Lake, MN
Manitou Days is a three-week summer festival showcasing the great lakeside community of White Bear Lake. For 50+ years this annual summer ritual has been a favorite of locals and visitors.
The fun kicks-off with Marketfest and ends on the Fourth of July with a spectacular fireworks display to music over the lake. Festival highlights include the Grande Parade, the Beach Dance, Medallion Hunt, Kiddie Parade, Community Garage Sale, and more.
Build a sand castle. Enter a fishing contest. Shop Downtown White Bear Lake. Do yoga on the beach. Hunt for a medallion. Dance under the stars. Watch fireworks on the beach. With 50+ events, this is something for everyone!
Firefly Viewing Nights

Experience the magic of summer nights at the Arb with hundreds of fireflies flashing through the sky. Bring your family and friends to marvel at the wonder of these glowing winged beetles (also known as lightning bugs).
Begin your firefly viewing experience by gathering in the Sensory Garden Parking Lot to learn about these special creatures from Minnesota Master Naturalists and to plan your hike for the evening.
Pick from four options for firefly viewing hikes throughout our grounds. We’ll note which route offers the best viewing each night.
Grand Carnival

Franconia Art & Farmers Market

The first Sunday of each month, May-October from 10 am – 2 pm, local farmers and artists come together to provide a variety of fresh produce and handmade crafts to our 180,000 annual visitors. Each event is a fun way for people to connect directly with the local farmers and artists in the St. Croix River Valley. The first Art & Farmers Market will take place on Sunday, May 1st, and will feature a free informational workshop on beekeeping at 2 pm, led by Bone Lake Meadows Apiary.

Historic Hastings Car Show

The Minneapolis Aquatennial is a four-day festival celebrating the City of Minneapolis taking place July 20-23, 2022. Beloved Aquatennial flagship events will again bookend the Aquatennial in 2022. The CenterPoint Energy Torchlight Parade will take place on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 and the Target Fireworks on Saturday, July 23, 2022.
