So far March is coming in like a lamb. Spring has sprung a little early it seems which makes it a great time to get outside and soak up the sun. While there are many outside events taking place this month, most of the events are still online. The Saint Patrick’s Day Parade as we know it has been canceled this year, but there is a drive thru St. Patrick’s Day celebration for you to enjoy. Sistine Chapel Exhibition at MOA

Mall of America brings the internationally acclaimed Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel Exhibition, an immersive presentation of museum-quality, near life-size reproductions of the iconic master’s frescoes that adorn the Sistine Chapel in Rome. It will be located on level two of the North Atrium. Although this is a ticketed and timed event, all tickets will be honored as space allows. The spacious exhibit is located in the North Atrium conveniently steps away from parking and vehicle drop-off areas. COVID safety protocols mandated by the State of MN, CDC, and employed by MOA are equally enforced within the exhibit space. Last ticketed entry is one hour before MOA closes.

Doc McStuffins: The Exhibit – Minnesota Children’s Museum

Experience the first children’s museum exhibit based on Disney Junior’s award-winning series, Doc McStuffins. Join the magical storytelling as you help Doc and her friends in the new McStuffins Toy Hospital! Important information to know before you visit: All visitors, including members, must make a reservation in advance. Visits are limited to two hours. Please arrive on time and depart after no more than two hours. Bring a mask. They are required for visitors age 5 and older (and encouraged for children ages 2 to 4). Plan to practice social distancing. If you are sick or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, please do not come to the museum.

Jazz Fest Live Featuring The Atlantis Quartet

Formed in 2006, Atlantis Quartet is at the forefront of the twin cities modern jazz scene, having toured the Midwest and East Coast while releasing five albums to critical acclaim. In 2015, the group was awarded the McKnight Fellowship for Performing Musicians. Featuring four of Minnesota’s most exciting improvisors and composers, saxophonist Brandon Wozniak, guitarist Zacc Harris, bassist Chris Bates, and drummer Pete Hennig.

An Irish MASK – arade: A St. Patrick’s Day Drive-Thru Celebration

In place of the traditional parade, the St. Patrick’s Association is hosting the 2021 Irish Mask-arade, a drive-thru event providing would-be parade goers a fun St. Patrick’s Day alternative. The “reverse parade” has attendees traveling through the route to see stationary parade units. All advanced reservations are sold out, but you can participate virtually via a live broadcast on the St. Pat’s Association Facebook page starting at Noon.
