There are so many great events in the Twin Cities this September, you’re going to have a hard time choosing from all of them. The fair has just ended, the Renaissance Festival is in full swing and the Parade of Homes begins on the 10th and don’t forget, Pratt Homes is hosting a Model Home Grand Opening in Twenty-One Oaks on September 11th.

Minnesota State Fair

Often referred to as the “Great Minnesota Get-Together,” the annual Minnesota State Fair is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the region. The fair attracts nearly 1.8 million guests annually. This end-of-summer tradition is always held the 12 days leading up to and through Labor Day. The 2016 Minnesota State Fair runs Aug. 25 – Sept. 5.
Renaissance Festival

Parade of Homes
When: September 10th – October 2nd
Where: Various locations throughout the Twin Cities
Tour 423 New Homes Sept. 10-Oct. 2 (noon to 6pm) and 57 remodeled Homes Sept. 30 (1-7pm) and Oct. 1-2 (noon to 6pm). The Parade of Homes is a scattered site tour of new homes. Twice a year in the Twin Cities, builder members of the Builders Association of the Twin Cities (BATC) open hundreds of models, spec and pre-sold homes for people to tour. Skyway Mini Golf

Tee up—on the terrace—and let the games begin! Amazing views and novelties await you on the Walker Art Center’s newest mini-golf course, featuring a giant hot dog, ping-pong paddles, a tricky chicken coop, and more.
Due to the renovation of the Walker/Minneapolis Sculpture Garden campus, we’ve set up a 9-hole course on the rooftop. Play a round in one of the Twin Cities’ most unique outdoor settings. Every ticket includes free gallery admission for each golfer.
5 to 10 on Hennepin

Where: 8th to 9th Streets on Hennepin

Each week on Thursdays 5 to 10 will activate one city block between 5th and 10th streets along Hennepin Avenue from 5pm to 10pm by filling the sidewalks, surface parking lots, while partnering with business and property owners to provide:
- An artist and makers market with up to 30 vendors per week
- “Community Collaboration”
- A mobile sound and light stage with three live performances each evening
- Street performers and buskers
- A coached basketball court
- A ping pong table
- Table games (chess, giant Jenga, giant Connect Four)
- Food and drink
- Temporary tables and chairs
