For the 26th year, the Builders Association of the Twin Cities (BATC) presents its annual Fall Parade of Homes Remodelers Showcase®, open from September 27-29, 2013. There are a total of 88 beautiful remodeled homes open to tour, Friday from 1:00 to 7:00 pm and Saturday/Sunday from noon to 6:00 pm. All are free with the exception of three Dream Remodeled Homes that request a $5 donation to the BATC Foundation to enter.

The comprehensive Guidebook again features all of the homes with maps and information, plus editorial including remodeling stories from real families, listings of special events, top design trends, and more. Guidebooks are available at area Holiday Stationstores now.

Three, beautiful whole-house remodeling projects have been selected by the BATC Foundation as its Dream Remodeled Homes. Visitors pay a $5 donation to tour, which helps the Foundation continue to build and remodel homes for area families in need. Two are teardown homes, #R7 by Cates Fine Homes located in White Bear Lake, and #R57 in Edina by Elevation Homes. The third is a main and upper level remodel, #R78 in Tonka Bay by AMALIA G. Construction.

Online, Tablet and Smart Phone Access
A comprehensive website at www.ParadeofHomes.org includes all the entries easily searchable on the map or by remodeler name or project type. The Trip Planner that maps routes between homes, and interconnected company pages provide more information about the remodeling firm. The mobile site at m.Paradeofhomes.org is fully integrated with the full site, and lets smart phone and tablet users search for remodeled homes, learn more about remodelers and take advantage of the Trip Planner.

Projects of All Types
The remodeled homes on tour feature virtually every type of remodeling. Kitchens remain the most popular project on the tour, with all but seven homes including at least some work in the kitchen. Visitors can see 20 additions, nine remodeled lower levels, 15 whole house remodels, eight teardowns and 16 bathrooms. There are historic renovations and plenty of modern updates to tour, all featuring the latest and most innovative finishes, colors and styles.
