Trail of Terror – The largest Halloween event in the Midwest! Enjoy all these terrifying attractions including Bone Appetit, Howling Pines Wood Walk, Hotel 666, and the Crystal Caverns.

Aamodt’s Apple Farm – The place to get the Honey Crisp and all those other wonderfully delicious apple treats. This year is the First Annual EggFest – Join fellow EGGheads for a smoke-infused autumn afternoon of grillin’ and chillin’ in the orchard, located near scenic Stillwater, Minnesota.

Afton Apple Farm – Apple picking season is in high gear along with raspberry picking and a host of different fresh fruits from other regions. A 15 acre corm maze and a fun hayride for the whole family makes the short drive to Afton, MN well worth it.

Twin Cities Book Festival – The Twin Cities Book Festival—brought to you by Rain Taxi—is not only the largest and most important literary gathering in the Upper Midwest, it is the annual get-together for the Twin Cities’ devoted literary community. Meet a variety of different authors from the neighborhood and around the world. Listen to the fascinating author panels discussing topics of interest to authors. Book signings as well!

Sever’s Corn Maze – Open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from September 13th thru October 27th. Spend the afternoon finding your way through the famous corn maze. When you’re finished pick out your Halloween pumpkin at the Sever’s Pumpkin Patch.

Twin Cities Harvest Festival and Corn Maze – This year’s corn maze celebrates our home state of Minnesota. Come and explore the maze and see if you can find all of our state icons; including Paul Bunyan and Babe, the north woods, a loon, a fish, a spoon and cherry, and an ear of corn. Other attractions include a hayride, petting zoo, pumpkin slinger, gunny sack slide and even helicopter rides!

BlackOut at Nickelodeon Universe – Experience Nickelodeon Universe in a whole new way with unlit rides, black lighting, fog effects, a live DJ, costume contests, black light t-shirt making, glow in the dark airbrush tattoos and more!

Frightmares at Buck Hill – Come and walk the terrifying grounds of Buck Hill, if you dare, to see what dangers lurk in the dark.
