Spring in Woodbury

Spring is finally here (even if it doesn’t quite look like it yet) and that means there are all kinds of wonderful activities in and around Woodbury for you and the family to enjoy. You might not be able to enjoy a picnic outside on the grass just yet but there are still plenty of ways to get your spring on.

Old Fashioned Easter Egg Hunt – Bring your bucket and join us for an old fashioned egg hunt outside at Carver Lake Park Friday, April 11, 2014. Each age group will be looking for different colored eggs hidden throughout the park. The event will be held rain or shine, so please dress for the weather. We will start promptly at 7 p.m.

Marjorie McNelly Conservatory Spring Flower Show – Nothing casts out the winter cold like the spring flower show at the Como Conservatory. Step inside the beautiful glass confines of the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory’s Sunken Garden for the Spring Flower Show beginning Saturday, March 22. The Spring Flower Show runs through April 27, and will highlight the Hydrangea Arizona which blooms either red or magenta depending on how it is grown. Admission is free but a donation is appreciated.

Meet The Easter Bunny! – The Easter Bunny will be at Valley Creek Mall on Saturday, April 12th, 10am-2pm. Kids come and get FREE toys and candy from all the merchants. There will also be free face painting, coloring contest, kids craft area, refreshments and balloons from Dan the Balloon man. Visit Patch of Woodbury to learn more about the awesome event!
