4th of July Events in the Twin Cities

St. Paul

You don’t need to attend the game to see the fireworks. Grab a blanket and head up to Mounds Park to watch the fireworks. Don’t forget the bug spray.

Red, White and Boom
When: July 3rd, 2017
Where: Downtown Minneapolis Riverfront

Celebrate America’s Independence Day at Minneapolis Red, White and Boom, a celebration hosted by the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board. The annual event attracts more than 75,000 people to sites along the downtown Minneapolis riverfront, and features live music, great food, fun activities for the whole family, and the grand finale – fireworks!

4th of July Hometown Celebration
When: July 4th, 2017
Where: Bielenberg Sports Center

Woodbury, MN

Celebrate the 4th of July at the annual Hometown Celebration! Enjoy music from Thrillbillies, a Minnesota native band that brings the best in up-tempo country dance music along with a few surprises. The music starts at 7 p.m.

Activities are free and family-friendly. Concessions will be available for purchase on-site. Fireworks begin at 10 p.m.

Fireworks and Ice Cream Social
When: July 4th, 2017
Where: George Green Park

Anoka, MN

Join us for Anoka’s Annual Ice Cream Social, Tuesday, July 4, Noon – 3 p.m.  Enjoy ice cold root beer floats from 12–3 p.m. at George Green Park,1498 6th Ave. Enjoy the sounds of the North Suburban Concert Band as they perform from the band shell. Try our lawn games, too. Bring your picnic basket, blankets, lawn chairs, and family and friends for a relaxing afternoon in one of Anoka’s many beautiful parks.

July 4th Fireworks Show
When: July 4th, 2017
Where: National Sports Center
Blaine, MN

The fireworks will be at the National Sports Center, however they will be located on the NORTH side of 105th.  There will be excellent viewing from every parking lot at the NSC with the exception of the lot to the south of the Superrink.
