References – Once you’ve narrowed down your search for a remodeling contractor you’ll want to check their references. Ask for names of people who have used their services and talk to them. Interview – Now it’s time to meet with the remodelers. You may interview some top notch remodelers with great credentials and referrals, choosing one might come down to the right fit. All things being equal – experience, cost, referrals, etc… you might choose someone based on how well you like them. And that’s ok. You’re going to be spending a fair amount of time with your remodeler so it’s a good idea to like them.
