The Parade of Homes is going on now in the Twin Cities. The Parade of Homes and the Remodelers Showcase are both wonderful ways for you to see what’s new in home building and remodeling. Pratt Remodeling is not in the Remodelers Showcase this year however, Pratt Homes has 3 available homes in the Parade of Homes this year.

You can learn more about the Parade of Homes by clicking here or visit the Parade of Homes website here.

The Remodelers Showcase is a great way to see what’s new in remodeling, to see the latest trends in design and renovation and to meet and talk to remodelers about getting your project started.

The Parade of Homes Remodelers Showcase

When: September 28th – October 1st

Thursday through Sunday from noon to 6pm you can tour all 64 homes of the Remodelers Showcase

Parade of Homes Remodelers Showcase: The Parade of Homes Remodelers Showcase is a scattered site tour of remodeled homes held in conjunction with the Parade of Homes. Twice a year in the Twin Cities, remodeler members of the Builders Association of the Twin Cities (BATC) open dozens of real remodeled homes for people to tour. Details are included in a printed magazine Guidebook and online at ParadeofHomes.org.

Cost: Touring the homes on the Parade of Homes and the Remodelers Showcase is free. Artisan Dream Remodeled Homes require a $5 donation per home to tour.  All proceeds help the Foundation build and remodel homes for area families in need.

About the Remodelers Showcase: Originated in the mid 1980s, the Remodelers Showcase has long been a great way for homeowners to “shop” the real work of area remodelers. Since most of the projects remodelers complete are lived-in homes, allowing prospective clients the opportunity to actually tour their projects is a challenge. And deciding on a remodeler by looking at a photo portfolio just isn’t the same.

Guidebooks: Guidebooks are available now at regional Holiday Stationstores. The Guidebooks include information about all of the homes on tour, plus interesting articles and an extensive style section showing off the latest décor items. The Guidebook is available at ParadeofHomes.org in e-magazine format, too. And of course, ParadeofHomes.org is your online resource with everything in the Guidebook plus many more filters and resources to make touring fun and easy; and to bring you valuable information year round.

Online Resource: The Parade of Homes online Trip Planner is easy to use. Start at your desktop at ParadeofHomes.org. Register your email and begin searching for homes to tour. Mark homes you like as “Favorites,” then when you’re ready to plan a tour, use the Trip Planner drop-down menu under the Tour search. You can choose some or all of the homes you “favorited,” and ask the system to map the most convenient tour. Then you can log on using your smart phone to access your trip route as you tour.
