Parade of Homes Remodelers Showcase Logo

For the 26th year, the Builders Association of the Twin Cities (BATC) presents its annual Spring Parade of Homes Remodelers Showcase, open from March 22 to 24. There are a total of 63 beautiful remodeled homes open to tour, Friday from 1:00 to 7:00 pm and Saturday/Sunday from noon to 6:00 pm. All are free with the exception of two Dream Remodeled Homes that request a $5 donation to the BATC Foundation to enter.

The comprehensive Guidebook again features all of the homes with maps and information, plus editorial including remodeling stories from real families, listings of special events, top design trends, and four certified MN Green Path remodeled homes with information about green remodeling. Guidebooks are available at area Holiday Stationstores now.

Two beautiful, whole-house remodeling projects have been selected by the BATC Foundation as its Dream Remodeled Homes. Visitors pay a $5 donation to tour, which helps the Foundation continue to build and remodel homes for area families in need. Home #R25 is by Copper Creek Ltd. in St. Paul, and #R47 is a beautiful renovation in Minneapolis from Otogawa-Anschel Design-Build.

Online, Tablet and Smart Phone Access
Touring is even easier this year at www.ParadeofHomes.org with the new Trip Planner that maps routes between multiple entries. The brand new mobile site is fully integrated with the full ParadeofHomes.org site, and lets smart phones and tablets search for remodeled homes, learn more about remodelers and take advantage of the Trip Planner.

Projects of All Types
The remodeled homes on tour feature virtually every type of remodeling imaginable. Visitors can tour 60 remodeled kitchens, 18 additions, five basements, 13 whole house remodels, six teardowns and a dozen or more bathrooms. There are historic renovations and plenty of modern updates to tour, all featuring the latest and most innovative finishes, colors and styles.

Remodeled Homes Located Across the Extended Metro Area
Most areas of the Twin Cities are represented in this Spring’s Remodelers Showcase. As usual, Minneapolis (14) has the most projects to tour followed by Edina with nine. And, six cities have four homes each, including Apple Valley, Eagan, Eden Prairie, St. Louis Park, St. Paul and Woodbury.

The Builders Association of the Twin Cities (BATC) is the leading voice for builders and remodelers. BATC represents 1,100 builders, remodelers, developers and industry suppliers with a mission of helping its members grow their businesses through marketing, advocacy and industry connections. BATC is widely recognized as a powerful force at the state Legislature and with state regulatory agencies. It’s also known for its twice-a-year signature events: The Parade of Homes℠ and Remodelers Showcase®. In addition, BATC offers Minnesota’s Green Path℠, a growing new home and remodeling certification program providing healthy, durable, energy-efficient homes to buyers and homeowners.
