It’s that time of year again, the Parade of Homes begins this Saturday, March 2nd. It runs through the end of March with models open Thursdays through Sundays from Noon to 6pm. This year we’re hosting a Villas on Parade, a progressive tour of all our Villa Models in Fable Hill of Hugo, MN, Twenty-One Oaks of Woodbury, MN, and The Royal Club in Lake Elmo, MN. See below for more details of this fun event. In addition to all the Parade of Homes happenings, there are also many other great events in the Twin Cities this March. It might be cold and snowy, but spring really is right around the corner. Get out and enjoy this very Minnesota Winter.

Minneapolis Home and Garden Show

The Expo is in its 30th year. The Expo includes celebrity appearances, interactive events for kids, memorabilia, apparel, and the latest and greatest in training products. The Expo coincides with the Minnesota State High School Hockey Tournament and draws upwards of 40,000 hockey enthusiasts to the show each year. If you love hockey, you will love the Expo.

43 Mile Fat Bike Gravel
When: March 9th, 2019
Where: Start at Dunn Brothers Coffee

43 mile mostly gravel ride from Hugo to Marine St. Croix.
Meet up at Dunn Bros. in Hugo. Will stop at Marine Cafe for coffee & pastries and to warm the toes. Up Naason hill on way back and more gravel goodness. Cost = Free. Wheels roll out at 9am. Estimated back to Dunn Brothers around 1/1:30pm.

Maple Syrup Festival

It’s time to celebrate spring! Learn about the tradition of gathering maple sap and cooking it down to make maple syrup and sugar. We’ll go through the syrup process, do some maple crafts, participate in a spring scavenger hunt and taste some maple-y treats. Fun for the whole family! Pre-registration is required. Neighbor Day

You’re invited to the 5th annual Neighbor Day event! Celebrate the legacy of Fred Rogers by joining your city-wide neighbors for an evening of fun. Enjoy hands-on activities, youth performances, a community meal, the Metro State Dome (an inflatable planetarium), a bouncy house, inflatable obstacle course and more!

This FREE event is hosted by the Saint Paul Public Schools’ Community Education department. Our daily programs include Adult Basic Education, Adult Enrichment, Discovery Club, Early Child and Family Education, Flipside Afterschool, Youth Enrichment and the Como Planetarium.
